APG is currently seeking experienced Road Workers/Labourers for a 6-month contract within a Government Sector based at Waratah.

**Pay Rate: $38.44 per hour excluding Super + Overtime + Travel Allowance**

**Possible camping away depending on applicants location and which crew you will be placed in.**

**Day and Night Shifts - 9 Day Fortnight**

**Job Details**
You will undertake a range of duties to support the efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure within Waratah, including but not limited to:

- maintenance of established pavements
- construction of new or enhanced pavements
- establishment and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
- establishment and maintenance of traffic signals and driver aid devices
- Vegetation management including brush cutting, removing trees and trimming branches.
- Litter removal and clean-up of the road corridor.
- Incident response and removal of immediate hazards to road users.
- Graffiti removal from transport structures.
- Cleaning drainage structurer

**Requirements & Required Licenses / Tickets**:

- White card essential
- MT License
- Workers on Foot (willing to obtain, online course)
- Rigging or Hi-Ab Tickets - Experience Compulsory
- 2 x reference checks from past employers
- Ability to pass police check
- Fit & healthy, ability to do manual handling and lifting
- Experience with the construction industry, labourers, concreters, steel fixers encouraged to apply.
