Building our Talent
We are seeking a Forecasting and Planning Manager to join our Global Finance Team for a 15 month contract to cover maternity leave. The role will be based in our Sydney Head Office and once established will be able to WFH 2-3 days. This role will report into the Forecasting & Planning Senior Manager and you will be responsible for leading the Australia financial forecasting and planning function to ensure the efficient management of the company's forecasting and business planning and associated reporting processes.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Being a Forecasting and Planning Manager you will be responsible for the co-ordination and collation of the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting of the Australia business, as well as assisting with forecasting and planning for other Global regions. The role will also be fundamental to supporting senior management through the successful execution of a wide range of projects and to provide assistance and support to the global forecasting function including treasury management.
**The main functions of this role will include**:
- Preparation of monthly Australian forecast report
- Management of Australian and global cash andliquidity
- Management of corporate cost centres budget and actuals - cash and profit monitoring spend v budget
- Prepare global consolidated cash forecast from regional submissions
- Assistance with implementation of new forecasting and planning software
- Assistance with annual global 5 year budget
- Mentoring and advising junior members of the team
**Key Skillset Required**:
- Qualified accountant with full membership of relevant professional body (CA or CPA)
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
- Demonstratable expertise in financial management, forecasting and reporting
- A strong quantitative and analytic approach to financial planning
- Confident and adept at setting up new processes and policies.
- Inspire, influence, coach and influence the wider team
- Organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environment and able to work with
