Job Description

This position requires a clear and readily articulated understanding of the values of an inclusive society. The incumbent must have a deep understanding of the impacts of past wrongs. Along with a deep commitment to work together in unity with First Nations people and non-Indigenous Australians to promote healing and mutual respect.

Working as part of the Population Health team, and reporting to the Community Engagement & Inclusion Senior Coordinator, you will:

- Develop and lead DPV Health’s second Innovate RAP
- Build and strengthen relationships with local Aboriginal Peoples’ stakeholders and other partners to collaborate on RAP initiatives and participate in community engagement initiatives
- Work in partnership with the DPV Health team including RAP deliverable leads, staff and managers to complete projects, host events and progress RAP deliverables
- Develop culturally appropriate processes to enable DPV Health to offer a welcoming, safe and healing environment
- Co-design with First Nation Peoples, staff and partners, solutions that can be implemented across DPV Health that contribute to the strategies of the RAP - including policies, events, celebrations and professional development

Desired Skills and Experience

This is an identified role. Although not essential, an understanding of the Reconciliation Action plan process, demonstrated cultural awareness, experience in leading projects and strong engagement and communication skills are highly regarded. Ideally you will have a driver's licence.

**The fine print**
- _0.6 FTE / 3 days per week until June 2026_
- _Level 4 salary range is $43.07 - $46.72 per hour. Salary is negotiable depending on experience._
