About the Role

Join our Modification Centre team and learn how to fit out and customise heavy vehicles. If you've worked with vehicles before, whether in light vehicle mechanics, auto electrical, accessory fitting, or similar, this is your pathway into the heavy vehicle sector.

You don't need truck experience. We'll provide full training, pay above typical motor industry rates, and support you to gain a nationally recognised Heavy Vehicle Fitter qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fit and install accessories, components, and custom modifications to heavy trucks
  • Learn the skills of a qualified Heavy Vehicle Fitter on the job
  • Work with experienced tradespeople in a modern, well-equipped workshop
  • Follow technical drawings and instructions to complete fitouts to a high standard

About You

  • Experience working with vehicles (light vehicle mechanic, auto electrical, accessory fitting, or similar)
  • Good practical skills with tools and equipment
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
