North Brisbane Based Public Sector Engineering Role Within The Development Services Team.

**Your new company**
Our client is a public sector organisation based in North Brisbane. They are looking to engage a Engineering Officer - Development Services, reporting to the Coordinating Engineering Assessment, to Provide specialist advice.

**Your new role**
You will also:

- Provide specialist advice based on the development assessment process, the cost of infrastructure and negotiation of complex infrastructure agreements
- Complete site inspections and investigations to help the resolutions of transport and stormwater issues
- Contribute to the team’s positive environment, ensuring that you and others achieve a high performance, continuous improvement, and a customer focused culture

**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in the delivery of engineering assessment and compliance services.

As well as:

- Knowledge surrounding principles and practices regarding planning, design and construction of transport and stormwater infrastructure
- Knowledge of the State Planning Policy, the SEQ Regional Plan, the Planning scheme, and the Adopted Infrastructure Charge Resolution.
- Qualifications needed include Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering, White card and Current C class divers license.

**What you'll get in return**
The client is offering around $46 an hour, however, is negotiable based on relevant experience. As well as this, they are offering a 9-day work week, with flexible Work From Home options. This role is a contract opportunity.
