Our client who have been servicing residential and commercial building customers for 40 years have an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Hands-on Supervision of maintenance personnel and contractors
- Ensure that all servicing and repairs are carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Ensuring that plant and equipment is serviceable and available to meet the agreed production plan
- Co-ordinate all Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Providing guidance & support for technical design and major maintenance work
- Co-ordinating capital projects
- leading by example with a hands-on approach
- Maintenance Fitter preferably with a Restricted Electrical licence or Industrial Electrician qualifications with strong mechanical ability.
- Maintenance Fitter preferably with a Restricted Electrical licence or Industrial Electrician qualifications with strong mechanical ability.
- Any post trade qualification or proven experience in hydraulics or pneumatics are a huge advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience in plant maintenance
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supervision
- Strong approach to WHS
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be a team player and able to work unsupervised
- Industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience troubleshooting breakdowns and determining root causes in an industrial environment
- Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
- Strong PC skills including data handling/analysis/presentation using MS Office suite
- Ability to work under limited supervision and independently
- Be physically fit and healthy for work
- Must be willing to work on the tools
- Forklift Licence
- Drivers Licence (manual)
- Good communication and organisation skills

**Salary**: $45.00 - $46.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
