**Role description**:
Due to consistent growth in our business, we are currently looking for a National Water Lead to join either our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Gold Coast team. We have multiple opportunities for engineers with various skill sets across our civil teams in Places (Urban Development) and Mobility (Highways and Rail) Business Areas.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Proactively managing selected projects or components of projects with a focus on drainage and stormwater investigation, analysis and design;
- Providing both leadership and technical advice to project team members;
- Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design;
- Confirming relevant authority requirements, standards, specifications and procedures to the design scope of works;
- Review of, and ensuring compliance with, the components of the project for which we are responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies and the interfaces with other disciplines;
- Guiding the technical development of junior engineers in the stormwater discipline area.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a seasoned leader in your field with strong industry ties and demonstrated credibility in a consulting environment. You will come to us with:

- Demonstrated experience in stormwater drainage design using 12d and DRAINS are a requirement. Additional expertise in general civil works, WSUD or flood modelling advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally;
- Experience of working in multi discipline design and/or project teams; and
- Relevant engineering degree (Civil or Environmental). Chartered status or seeking equivalent professional accreditation advantageous.
