**What You Will Be Doing**

The Peninsula Health - Community Dental Program operates 21 chairs over 3 separate sites and the Smile Squad Mobile Dental Program; providing General, Specialist and Emergency dental care to those residing and holidaying on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula.

We seek a suitably experienced Dental Assistant to complement our professional and caring multi-disciplinary team. This position is spread across our Frankston, Rosebud, Hastings and Smile Squad sites on a fixed term part time basis.

The Dental Assistant is a key member of the wider multi-disciplinary dental team. This role not only provides efficient and effective support for clinicians, but also contributes to the smooth running of the dental department and the delivery of quality customer service to our clients and their families.

**What You Need**

The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, experience working in a supportive team environment; and be able to demonstrate competency and commitment to customer service and client engagement.

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate III or IV in dental Assisting (or equivalent)

**Desirable Criteria**
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with dental software

This role must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy.

Desirable: Knowledge of titanium dental software or other dental software programs
