**About the role**:
As our Maintenance Project Planner, you will report to the EMP Package Development Lead and undertake the coordination and development of ship maintenance project Main Work Lists (MWL) as well as other relevant data. You will lead the development of the Annual Task Material List, including identification of long lead time (LLT) items required to deliver the engineering change, defect repair and/or maintenance tasks for maintenance projects.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Collation of maintenance, Engineering Change (EC) and defect repair tasks, via liaison with the Work Package Team and Combat Group personnel, to create and maintain a project MWL.
- Liaise with Platform and Combat System Groups to integrate Technical Repair Specification (work instructions) into each maintenance package ahead of delivery of a ‘master’ MWL for each project.
- Development of the detailed maintenance requirements.
- Delivery of the MWL in accordance with schedule targets and reporting requirements.
- Identification of long lead time material requirements for MWL tasks, and coordination of procurement and staging with the Supply Chain Team in sufficient time to support project execution.
- Incorporate outcomes and recommendations from the project Analysis Team and other stakeholders to foster a continuous improvement culture for work package maturity and accuracy.
- Support the upkeep and management of the 5-year maintenance and material requirements list.
- Collation of Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) data related to maintenance planning.
- Provide options to support the management of scope/schedule/seaworthiness trade-offs.

**About you**

You’ve got the knowledge and proven experience of utilising an Asset Management and Planning software tool to develop maintenance project work lists. You thrive off of being highly organised and your attention to quality and detail is demonstrated in your work. You can maintain dashboard reports to support executive reporting, and you are highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, in particular Excel.

If you’ve got knowledge of ANZAC platform systems and maintenance requirements, working knowledge of Defence’s Asset Management and Planning System (AMPS) and experience in a cost focused environment, this is highly advantageous but if not, you will have the support from your wonderful team that will be there along the way.
