- 5+ years of experience in delivering, managing and/or supporting data governance solutions, with 5+ years' experience in broader areas of data and analytics.
- Strong relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic perspective; looks toward the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; can pose future scenarios; and can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future.
- Understanding Australian data management, security and privacy regulations, best practices and how they impact the telecommunications industry.
- Leadership skills: individual leadership, change leadership, mentorship, motivation, coaching and development, and the ability to galvanize the support of others.
- Demonstrated ability to work across organisational boundaries.
- Understanding of the agile software development processes and lifecycle.
- Excellent organisation skills; must be able to manage and deliver on disparate tasks, project plans and conflicting priorities.
- Exceptional influencing skills with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Experience working in a large and complex organisation is critical, telecommunications experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders in technical, non-technical/business and management levels within an organization.
- Possess uncompromising ethics, unwavering integrity and understanding of risk & regulatory process.

**Requirements**:

- Take the lead on the administration, management and user support of large-scale data governance technical solutions
- Extensive experience in data governance and management tools and technologies, as well as data and analytics concepts and technologies. Knowledge of data engineering, distributed technologies, Big Data platforms like Hadoop or Cloudera, and cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud Platform are all highly desirable.
- Keep abreast of industry trends. You effectively research and benchmark our technology against other competitors in the industry, and make recommendations based on your findings.
- Be creative and passionate, driven by a desire for innovation and creation of an amazing client experience - smart risk taking - outside the box thinking

Note: Australia Citizens/PR Holders/ Work & Dependent Visa holders will be considered.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
