**About the role**
Utilise your passion for training, along with your automotive experience to play an essential role in developing tyre fitters based at our Wingfield site.
Bridgestone Australia Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer/Assessor who will be responsible for training and assessing learners’ knowledge and performance, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The role will include:
- Onboarding new employees.
- Training onsite tyre fitters (TBR, passenger and wheel alignment).
- Assessing Certificate II Tyre Servicing (Light) & Certificate II Tyre Servicing (Heavy) qualifications to meet RTO and compliance requirements at various Bridgestone sites.
- Facilitating the transition training from on site to road side tyre fitting.
- Leading activities to achieve positive HSE outcomes, ensuring fitters are trained in safe work best practices.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to identify and implement improvement opportunities within customer depots and the store.
- This role also requires the performance of service fitter duties.
**About you**
With training and assessing experience in an automotive environment, this role will suit someone who is driven to develop and support others to achieve their full potential.
You will present with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and have a high level of focus on learning outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you will also need to display the following:
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116) (or willing to obtain)
- Certificate II in Tyre Fitting (or willing to obtain)
- Knowledge and experience in tyre fitting and safe work practices
- Ability to plan and deliver training, considering the learning requirements of individuals
- Proficiency in assessing qualifications such as Certificate II in Tyre Servicing (Light and Heavy) to meet RTO and compliance requirements
- Capability to perform service fitter duties
- Personal alignment with Bridgestone's TRACE behaviours (Transparency, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, Embrace Change)
