Industry Specialist

We have an opportunity for an Industry Specialist for Mining & Decarbonisation based in Perth, Western Australia to effectively grow the sales & product management of all Systems and Software Solutions Solutions (SYSS) products and software within the Metals and Mining industry.

**_In this role, you will: _**
- Grow new accounts and sales for all Systems and Software Solutions (SYSS) within Metals & Mining and other industries that are also enablers of decarbonisation
- Create and drive new project pursuits, sales strategies and account programs outside of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Project Pursuit team.
- Own and lead project pursuits for new accounts and/or new projects within ANZ, that span across entire SYSS portfolio.
- Act as Metals and Mining industry specialist for customers, Emerson management and peers.
- Assist with planning and execution of marketing programs including - advertising, seminars, road shows, training programs, industry specific seminars, new product launches, etc. Other duties as directed.

**_For this role, you will need: _**

**Education, Knowledge, and Experience**
- Tertiary or qualified in an engineering related field and/or relevant experience in a similar position.
- Experience in decarbonization-enabling industries, especially in Metals & Mining
- Project pursuit experience, specifically the ability to work collaboratively in defining solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers, End Users and/or EPC’s.
- Experience in Business Development, sales and marketing is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Emerson’s SYSS portfolio
