**NSW Government, Financial Modeler (Excel)**
- Provide financial modelling and analysis to support submission and approval of a Business Case and budget bid, therefore collaborate with policy and business SME's to deeply understand policy objectives and assumptions, and translate business requirements into a financial forecast with multiple option scenarios

**Responsibilities for the role will include**:

- Working with partners to ensure financial models are accurate, feasible and intrinsically linked with cost-benefit analysis
- Supporting senior executive in the provision of expert advice and guidance to enable informed decision-making and to optimise outcomes
- Supporting an uplift of financial knowledge and capability within the existing team by sharing knowledge of ERC, internal budget bid and other strategic financial processes

**Requirements for the role will include**:

- Financial modelling skills essential - Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models, with Advanced Excel skills
- Finance systems knowledge in SAP and/or Prime
- Strong analytical & conceptual skills, be able to analyse and interpret information
- Business partnering skills with stakeholders on all levels
- Be quick learner in the policy intent and work with team to design and adjust cost model for proposed policy
- Needs to be highly analytical and able to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably have government experience
