**The Role**:
The key responsibility of this role is to operate the specialised Magni Telehandler with a Westtech Woodcracker CS750 cutting head, safely and effectively, as well as ensuring the safe trimming, dismantling and removal of trees. All formal training, certificates and qualifications will be provided by Active Tree Services. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

- Maintenance checks and conducting risk assessment
- Complex JSA completion
- Implementing job methodologies
- Ensure work is conducted in line with SWMS (safe work method statements)
- Planning and prioritising site works
- Ensuring safety of all team members
- Safe and efficient operations of machine

**What we need from you**:

- A current unrestricted driver’s licence
- HR truck licence or equivalent is preferred
- VOC licence (minimum) or the ability to demonstrate competency of industry equipment
- Previous experience operating heavy forestry equipment
- First Aid Certificate + CPR
- Ability to travel and work away on a roster for up to 3 weeks
- C2 - C6 Crane Operator Ticket preferred

**Great, but not essential**:

- Dogging and Rigging ticket (CPCCLDG3001 and CPCCLRG3001)
- Excavator ticket -** RIIMPO0320** (Conduct civil construction excavator operations)
- Loader ticket - **RIIMPO0321** (Conduct civil construction wheeled front end loader operations)
- Project and Vegetation Industry Experience
