Our client is a world class leader in shipping container unloading and loading services. Established in 2002, ACUG has expanded its operations to service the transport and logistics industry Australia wide.

These roles are not immediate starts so if you’re currently working as a forklift operator and not happy in your role we are happy to wait for notice periods.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Operating Clamp Forklift to unload 20ft and 40ft shipping containers
- Unloading electrical and white good products with clamp forklift
- Staging palletised goods in a warehouse environment
- Some manual work / shrink wrapping pallets
- Working to timeframes

To be successful you will possess:

- A current LF forklift licence
- Previous demonstrated experience in forklift operation
- Experience using Clamp forklift will be highly regarded
- Ability to learn how to operate clamp forklift if not experienced
- Ability to work afternoon shift Monday to Friday
- Great level of reliability and commitment to work
- A sense of urgency and piece work mentality
- Drivers licence and own transport

Work is paid PIECE RATE PER CONTAINER and gives the right people the opportunity to earn $35-$40/hour.

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Redbank Plains, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
