Support Worker

**The demand for quality in-home and community care is rapidly growing, and our teams are growing to meet it We’re now hiring a Support Worker located in Ultimo** to be part of our large family of support workers who pride themselves on making a difference in the community.

Each day will look a little different, but your key responsibilities will likely include:

- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication

**Shifts available**
- AM Thursday and Friday (7:30am-10:30am)
- AM Sunday (8am-11am)
- PM Thursday, Friday and Sunday (7:30pm-9:30pm)

**What you’ll bring**

**We’re looking for caring, people focused individuals who will brighten our client’s days and make a positive impact on their lives. To do well in this role, you will/may have**:

- Experience supporting people with bowel care - enema, personal care and transfers.
- A Certificate III (or higher) in Disability Care, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Individual Support or similar or have at least 1 years’ experience in a relevant field
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Working with Childrens Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police check or willingness to obtain
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (inclusive of booster)

In addition to the above, you will need your own reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
