**About the role**

We're looking for skilled and dedicated Painting and Decorating educators to help shape the next generation of tradespeople. Share your industry expertise and passion to develop students' practical skills, build their qualifications, and support their pathway into a successful career in the trade.

**NOTE**: In addition to facilitating Signs & Graphics classes (face to face on campus), the role includes regular interstate travel to conduct on-site ‘Job Ready’ assessments of painting trade workers for the Department of Workplace Relations (DEWR).

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will:

- Possess the following two qualifications or equivalent:

- Certificate III in Painting & Decorating (CPC30620) qualification.

plus
- Certificate III in Signs & Graphics (CPC30216) qualification.
- Have a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five (5) years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
- Be prepared to commit to regular interstate travel to conduct on-site ‘Job Ready’ assessments for painting trades workers.
