Housekeeping Manager
- Live and work in the beautiful Karri Valley Forest, in Beedelup National Park
- On-site self-contained accommodation and utilities available

**The Role**

This is a full-time role as a Housekeeping Manager leading our housekeeping team responsible for 32 hotel-style rooms, 36 self-contained chalets, caravan park, public areas of the resort, and amenities.

**Key responsibilities**
- Managing the Housekeeping team to ensure the implementation of effective systems and operational procedures, including daily checklists are actioned
- Planning of daily room requirements and conducting pre-arrival checks
- Driving guest satisfaction across the resort to exceed expectations
- Work closely with the Resort Management team and other Heads of Departments
- Managing costs and wage costings within budgetary requirements
- Recruiting, training and developing team members to ensure service standards are met
- Ensuring health and safety compliance

**The Location**

Karri Valley Resort is located in the beautiful Southwest region of WA, approximately 3.5 hours' drive from Perth and 15 minutes from Pemberton. The resort offers a range of accommodation to suit all travellers, including stunning lakeside rooms, forest chalets, and campsites. The resort is located on the edge of Lake Beedelup and surrounded by Karri trees in the Beedelup National Park.

**What We Are Looking For**
- Certification in hospitality preferred, but not essential
- Experience in similar role managing in the hospitality or related industries
- Considerable experience in supervision of a team
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays and willingness to assist with emergency after hours call-outs
- Knowledge of, and ability to maintain a safe working environment
