Zonzo Estate is a winery, restaurant and award winning wedding venue located on 300 picturesque acres in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

Our Restaurant specialises in authentic, heartwarming Italian cuisine, catering to groups of all sizes.

We are currently looking for dishwasher/kitchen hands to join our team. Causal/Part-Time and Full-Time roles are available.

We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service, and as such this role would be best suited to someone with an enthusiastic, can do attitude.

Our restaurant trading hours are Wednesday to Sunday for lunch. With weddings and events being run in the evenings (Monday-Sunday depending when things are booked)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting in all aspects of food preparation & cooking
- Maintain the effective operation of the kitchen
- Ensuring all stock is received, counted, handle and stored correctly
- Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames
- Maintain a safe clean and organised work environment with emphasis on high food safety standards
- Use safe manual handling techniques, practice safe work habits
- Take a consultative role in assisting and maintaining a clean, tidy work area and a healthy and safe working environment
- Previous experience working in a kitchen will be highly regarded.
- Any cooking/hospitality qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Someone that is passionate about food, hospitality and offering an exceptional customer experience.
- The ability to work in a busy high pressure environment.
- A professional and reliable attitude.
- The ability to work as part of a team and take direction, as well as show initiative to get tasks done in a timely manner.
- Is a committed team player and has the intention to work with us for the foreseeable future.
- Someone with the rights to work in Australia.
- Someone that is comfortable traveling to and from this job's location in Yarra Glen (there will be some travel at night following events).

**Salary**: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Shift work

- Yarra Glen, VIC 3775: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
