**About the ward**

Ward 5 East is a dynamic 32-bed unit specialising in cardiac and thoracic surgery and cardiology medicine. You will support the clinical team whilst you manage various patient administrative tasks.

The unit is committed to patient-centred, evidence-based care and is dedicated to continuing professional development for all staff.

**About the role**

A regular day will see you:

- **
Manage confidential patient information**:

- ** Manage collation of clinical documents**:

- ** Work directly with the nurse in charge to support patient access and flow**:

- ** Engage with multiple electronic platforms to book appointments, ambulance transfers and utilise patient electronic medical records**:

- ** Provide front desk reception assistance patients, families and visitors**
