Bupa has an opening for a **Risk Analyst** to join our 2nd Line Risk and Compliance team to coordinate the operational activities supporting the effective implementation of the Risk Management Strategy and Incident Management Framework across the APAC Market Unit.
- This is a permanent, full-time role and will be based at our Melbourne Exhibition Street offices with flexible hybrid work arrangements available._
**The opportunity**
The Risk Analyst will act as the second line of defence, undertaking field work and data analysis to assist with providing meaningful information to the Boards and business. A key requirement is the ability to build a strong and trusting rapport with business contacts, facilitating two-way interaction in relation to risk and compliance matters.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Be an advocate for a robust and transparent risk culture by educating the business on the Risk Management Strategy
- Assist with the implementation of the Risk & Compliance Plan which may include the delivering risk workshops, compliance obligations, Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), incident framework monitoring, risk register reviews
- Be accountable for control verification, data analysis, reporting, Risk Appetite Statements assessments and interpretation.

**What do I need?**
In the dynamic landscape of today's business world, the key to success lies in the hands of those with a finely tuned skill set. This calls for professionals with not only strong risk knowledge, but also a deep understanding of commercial intricacies.
**In addition, your experience may include**:
- Preferred tertiary qualifications in Business and Risk Management
- Risk Management Accreditation (RIMS, RMIA or similar) or be working towards highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills in order to convert risk and incident data into meaningful management insights and reporting
- Risk Management work experience with exposure to risk and control verification, risk workshops, management reporting within a regulated industry (financial services, insurance and/or health care). Suggested experience to deliver with expectations, we would suggest 3-5 years’ work experience.
