**What’s the role?**
- Lead and deliver programs related to Health, Safety and Security (HSS) risk analysis and quality assurance.
- Manage functional audit and inspection programs, including schedules, compliance, corrective actions and reporting.
- Deliver ongoing HSS governance and business unit reporting and analysis, including Executive level briefings on safety data and key performance metrics.
- Research, analyse and collate safety and security information, including incident data, legislation, industry updates and intelligence, providing insight for senior stakeholders and partners.
- Provide formal governance support to the HSS Board, including coordinating due diligence activities and the delivery of identified actions.
- Partnering with HR systems experts and business stakeholders, act as the team lead for HSS software tools and platforms, managing compliance and data integrity.
- Use risk analysis to contribute to the development of appropriate HSS interventions or recommend options for addressing key risks..
- Maintain incident and crisis management team membership and coordinate support in the event of a major incident.
- Support the maintenance of business continuity plans through scheduled reviews and assurance activities.
- Coordinate self-insurance program and licence obligations.
- Support the analysis of cyclical security guarding SLA performance review outcomes and contribute to improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate HSS vendor management, including purchase orders and invoicing, within an agreed budget and delegation.
**Who are you?**
Essential Experience
- Health, Safety and Security (HSS) risk management
- Developing and managing audit and assurance programs in safety, security or operational risk
- Building strong and effective relationships as a business partner, with relevant and multiple stakeholders across teams, departments or companies.
**Skills**:
- Proven ability in producing Executive level performance dashboards and metrics reporting to inform program effectiveness and improvement opportunities
- Proven ability to assess and interpret information or situations, formulate recommendations, and provide specialist advice based on the findings
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in risk management tools and proprietary software; such as MyOSH or similar safety reporting platforms, SolvInjury, Tableau, and Google Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to analyse and report on information quickly and coherently
- Demonstrable skills as a strong team player, able to work in a matrixed or shared services environment in a complex organisation
- Sound judgement and independent problem-solving
- High levels of self-motivation, time management, attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge
- Knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in HSS risk areas, including safety codes of practice, business continuity standards and data management
- Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Safety or Business Administration
