**The Role**

As the Current Affairs Digital Shooter/Editor, you'll lead the visual storytelling for The Feed, a prestigious SBS Digital Current Affairs brand. Your primary focus will be creating original short documentaries and visual assets, resonating with Gen Z and Millennial audiences. Through innovative storytelling techniques, you'll uphold the brand's reputation for bold, cutting-edge content, particularly on YouTube. You'll also contribute to Insight and Dateline programs, exploring various digital formats and platforms.

You will collaborate closely with the Digital Current Affairs team, and foster relationships with News Digital and Insight and Dateline TV teams for consistency and knowledge sharing.

In this role you will;
- Utilise SBS editing and filming equipment proficiently to craft digital-first content.
- Collaborate with producers to storyboard, shoot, and edit content tailored for digital platforms.
- Manage end-to-end content delivery to SBS and third-party platforms, ensuring timely completion.
- Film material on location, ensuring high-quality footage, and managing rushes and audio recording.
- Edit long-form documentaries and stories, adapting creatively for digital consumption.
- Stay updated on filming and editing trends for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

**About You**

Ideally, you will have;
- Demonstrated industry experience in shooting and editing.
- Proficiency in Canon EOS C200 and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Ability to light studio interviews, record clean audio, and construct overlay sequences.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to work weekends or outside regular hours.
- Creative mindset with a collaborative spirit.
- Organized approach to managing workflows and deadlines.
