6 month role, Government organisation, $400-600 p/d + super, Paramatta based/ 2-3 days WFH, Immediate start

**Your new role**
Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Assist with the development, review, improvement and roll out of processes and procedures that deliver strong business results in accordance with Procurement Policy and Framework.
- Ensure adherence to policy, process and frameworks.
- Manage Procurement related audit reviews, external and internal, their associated activities.
- Champion creativity and promote a culture of continuous improvement that allows people to improve the way they work, leading to increased business performance, effectiveness, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Enable and support the business to adopt best-in-class procurement.
- Manages general Procurement comments, queries, escalations and triage to appropriate procurement teams.
- Assist in managing and implementing Procurement related Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives such as Modern Slavery, indigenous business participation plan, net zero etc.
- Assist in managing, leading and implementing Procurement continuous improvement initiatives, projects and implementations.
- Assist in managing and implementing robust governance and compliance review and process to ensure effective compliance to Procurement Policy and Framework.
- Identify and manage interdependencies among operational issues, processes, governance, systems and tools.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency
- SAP/Ariba, Team binder system experience
- previous stake holder engagement experience
- Commercial / Construction/ Transport background would be a good fit
