We are currently seeking a Female Psycho-social Support Worker in the Butler area who would be excited to join our growing NDIS team.

The psycho-social support worker provides individualised support services to people requiring support who experience serious and persistent mental health difficulties, and experience difficulties in their daily living. The participants will have an individually funded support NDIS plan. The NDIS aims to provide people with choice and control over how, when and where those supports are provided.

The position requires availability for 1 day a week(Wednesday), with morning shifts lasting 2 hours.

Casual position - $40.26 an hour +super+ 1st aid + Laundry & Vehicle allowances

Will need to meet with the participant and build a rapport and trust, and with parents to ensure they are comfortable with the support worker
- Are reliable and will turn up when rostered
- Have own car, comprehensive insurance and current drivers licence
- Have the required Pre-employment checks - NDIS workers screening, police check working with children check
- Completed a Certificate III in disabilities
- A genuine commitment with demonstrated skills or knowledge working with people experiencing mental illness
- Mental health training
