We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. The Civil Engineering Technician will work closely with our team of engineers and other professionals to support the design and implementation of civil engineering projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assisting in the preparation of detailed methodologies, SWMS, and specifications for our projects.
- Conducting site material testing, equipment testing, quality inspections and other fieldwork.
- Preparing project estimates and schedule for projects.
- Analysing data and preparing reports for clients.
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure that projects meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Providing technical support to project teams and clients.
- Keeping up-to-date with developments in civil engineering technology and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
Knowledge coordinating large teams on Tier 1 Australian projects.
A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering is desirable but not mandatory.
Must hold skills listed below:
- Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Project Management or relevant qualification.
- Familiar with WH&S, Quality and Environmental controls.
- Chemical Grouting Experience.
- Crack Injection Experience.
- Desoi 2-components Pump Practice.
- Desoi Single components Pump Practice.
- Computer literacy in Excel, Microsoft windows.
- 2 years Tier 1 Project Experience.
- Excellent communication skills, good construction knowledge.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
**Required skills**:
You will be working 38 hours a week, however should deadlines need to be met, you will be required to work additional hours, weekend or night shift.
- Ensure the business is presented to a high standard at all times.
- Provide all management reports in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy of information.
- Follow the processes and procedures as set out in the company’s policies and procedures documentation.
- Ensure the smooth fly of information across the business in relation to the programming force and ensuring they cause the lease disruption to other areas of the business.
- Facilitate the gathering of marketing intelligence and disseminate to the necessary personnel.
- Other tasks as required from time to time.
**Salary**: $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
