**About Ovo Energy**

In 2009 OVO Launched in the UK, focussing on great service, affordable pricing and access to more renewable energy. They’re now the second largest electricity and gas retailer in the UK supplying energy from renewable sources to over 5 million households.

They launched here in Australia in late 2019, and now retail energy to customers throughout NSW, QLD, SA and VIC. OVO are focussed on a cheaper, greener, simpler approach and pride themselves on excellent customer service. In April 2021, they evolved to a Joint Venture with AGL, the largest retailer in Australia and they’re aiming to bring more innovation and a seamless digital experience to the Australian energy market.

**About the Role**

As a Digital Marketer, you’ll be working in their Growth Team and will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of all digital marketing activities and driving the digital engagement for the OVO Energy brand. You will be providing support across eCommerce, social media, SEO activity, SEM activity and EDM’s.

**What will I be doing?**
- Have overall accountability for expanding their digital marketing capability
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to define the long-term digital marketing strategy and then execute this strategy
- Deliver efficient and targeted digital marketing campaigns
- Test new and innovative channels to target those more niche audiences
- Work closely with the design, product and software teams to create high quality and engaging content
- Communicate sales performance to internal stakeholders
- Liaise with members of the team in the UK to utilise their knowledge and experience to help better inform marketing decisions

**Ideally you will have**
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience in a digital marketing role
- Previous experience working in a start-up would be beneficial
- Experience with marketing automation/lifestyle marketing would be advantageous
- Demonstrable results across successful marketing campaigns
- Specialist experience in SEO, Google Analytics, Facebook ads and other social platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations

- Drive, proactivity and results orientated
- Ability to conduct analysis of complex data and translate results into actionable deliverables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
