**Your new company**
This well known Federal Government Department is seeking an APS6 or EL1 Policy Development Officer to join their busy section responsible for contributing to the safe realisation of emerging aviation technologies. The section also safeguards community concerns by administering elements of a specific Act and whole of nation policies and guidance for privacy, environment and coordination challenges.

**Your new role**
You will have the ability to think outside the box and problem solve. You will also be someone who can follow step by step processes and demonstrate good attention to detail. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Organising, facilitating and supporting stakeholder engagement, including managing stakeholders, planning, strategy and execution.
- Policy development and analysis.
- Drafting of advice to Government.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have experience within policy development, governance processes and ICT projects desirable but not essential. You will also have the ability to adapt to change, demonstrate resilience and the ability to deal with ambiguity, develop robust, evidence based policy, demonstrate sound judgement, analyse and interpret complex and sensitive information from a variety of sources to make evidence based decisions and communicate clearly and with influence.

To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
