**Location**: Ladder Art Space, Kew, VIC
**Type**: Casual / Contractor (ABN required)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Release your inner Bob Ross — make painting fun, social, and inspiring
- Plan and deliver engaging **acrylic painting classes** for groups of all sizes and skill levels (including complete beginners).
- Demonstrate clear techniques while offering supportive, encouraging feedback.
- Create a relaxed, upbeat, and inclusive atmosphere that ensures everyone enjoys the experience.
- Bring energy and personality — engage, entertain, and inspire your guests.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest needs with care.
- Set up and pack down each session, maintaining a tidy and professional workspace.
- Capture creative, high-quality **photos and videos** for marketing and social media.
- Promote Ladder Art Space’s social channels and programs during classes.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest experience.
- Occasionally travel to **offsite events**, requiring access to a car.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or formal training in **Fine Arts or a related field** preferred (not essential).
- At least **2 years of experience** teaching or facilitating group painting sessions.
- Confident and skilled in **acrylic painting**.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working **evenings and weekends**.
- Positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about creating memorable art experiences.
- Must have:

- A **smartphone** for photos/videos and internet access.
- A **car** for occasional offsite events.
- A valid **ABN** (contractor role).
- **Exclusivity** — instructors must not teach Paint & Sip classes for other companies.

Our Paint & Sip classes often welcome **last-minute bookings**, adding a lively and spontaneous energy to our schedule. We’re looking for an instructor who thrives in a dynamic environment and is especially **flexible on weekends** — helping us continue to deliver unforgettable creative experiences for our guests.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
- Painting with acrylic: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- ABN (required)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
