We are seeking a **Finance Team Leader** to lead a team of finance administrators across our Roads business in **Queensland**. Working collaboratively with the operational team, you will undertake all key transactional activities and GL oversight of the business unit. A major focus for the role will include undertaking all month end requirements, working capital management, job costing analysis review, procurement, General Ledger reconciliations and providing support to the wider finance and administration team regarding Accounts Payable / Receivable

This role will require a successful track record of** managing teams;** strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.

**What you’ll bring**
- Ideally you will have a strong finance background coupled with experience as a Project or Management Accountant or similar, preferably in an operational environment
- Tertiary level qualification or equivalent industry experience
- The sound ability to provide effective end to end planning, analysis and advice on all contracting financial aspects within the business to contract/job close out
- Hands-on business accounting experience, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and P&L management & reporting
- Proven ability to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders including Senior management, onsite operational staff and Subcontractors.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- ERP software experience, JDE experience highly regarded
