**The Company**
Our client is a rapidly expanding and recognised food manufacturer with a trusted brand, creating high quality products loved by Australians for decades. With an enviable brand presence, they are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their operations on the Central Coast, NSW.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, duties of this role include:

- Develop and encourage Team Leaders to identify areas for improvement and staff motivation.
- Ensuring the efficient running of production coordinating effectively with other supervisors to ensure product is delivered on time and to a high standard of quality.
- Effectively communicate production expectations to Team Leaders and Team Members and hold staff accountable to KPI's.
- Conducting regular visual checks to ensure a high quality product at all stages.
- Show initiative in driving performance through visual KPI's and 5S/LEAN Methodologies, personal development coaching and workshops.

**Your Background**
Essential to the success of the role, the successful applicant will possess the following:

- A strong rapport-builder with a demonstrated history of leading teams to improved performance.
- A background in a made-to-order bespoke environment.
- Experience implementing and actively encouraging 5S/LEAN methodologies site-wide in order to reduce risk, waste, and increase efficiencies.
- Experience communicating, liaising and coordinating with other departments to ensure all parts of a product come together at the same time.
- Demonstrated experience of managing upstream and downstream processes to ensure availability of raw materials and ensure on time delivery of finished products.
- The agility to adapt to numerous different product sets.
- A demonstrated history of leading safe work practices - this role is hands on using staplers, glues and various other manual assembly processes - staff safety is paramount.
- The proven ability to effectively engage with all stakeholders throughout the business from upper management to the factory floor.
