**What does your daily life look like at Yancoal?**:
As a Master Data Specialist, you are responsible for providing effective control of master data policy and governance by liaising across sites to standardise data templates for the group. Coordinate data cleansing activities across sites and project teams.
- Liaise across sites to standardise SAP data for the group.
- Co-ordinate the 5-year LOM Maintenance budget cycle and assist sites with SAC ( SAP Analytical cloud) roll out.
- Coordinate data cleansing activities across sites and project teams.
- Assist sites with implementation and ongoing adoption of new processes and functionality.
- Control master data policy and governance including asset register.
- Execute data governance processes and chair the data governance forum.
- Provide advice, troubleshooting and guidance for end user support of master data management.
- Monitor ongoing data quality and work with stakeholders to ensure data quality issues are actioned.
- Upload New data for new assets being purchased across the group.
- Liaise with suppliers/OEMs to ensure data alignment.
- Holistic Life cycle management of assets

**What do you need to be successful in the position?**:
**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Electrical or Mechanical trade skill and or tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar).

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong working knowledge of Heavy Mining Equipment.
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written.
- Problem solving skills.
- Excellent computer literacy (particularly SAP and MS Project).
- Experience in maintenance management systems and procedures.
- An understanding of budgeting and cost management.
- Experience in maintenance management systems and procedures is desirable
