The Materials Sustainability Manager will lead the Artarmon Materials service lab in the provision of best-in-class materials support to the global Weir Minerals business. They will do this through the development and execution of the sustainable materials agenda.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in the development and deployment of sustainable material solutions.- Represent Applied Materials Technology Group in global best practice and product forums.- Lead the laboratory team in delivery of materials services technical assistance to sales, marketing and operations.- Maintain Global Materials Database in TeamCenter to support engineering design and SAP.-
- Manage materials lab within assigned budget.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Master's degree with 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
