Accounts Payable Officer

One of our clients, a local council within the Wantirna area, is looking for an accounts payable officer to join their passionate team.

This Job is a casual role, however, will be for 14 - 22 hours per week and could lead onto gaining a full-time contract.

Your shift will start at 8.45am and will end at 4.35pm (hours are flexible, however you will be required to work Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.)

Pay Rate: $48.39 Per Hour + Superannuation.

Starting: ASAP.

**You will Need**:
Knowledge and skills gained in an automated Accounts Payable environment within a large organisation.

Previous experience with a complex ERP system such as Computron.

Knowledge of controls and processing procedures in an automated accounts environment.

Excellent data processing skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team,

Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new complex systems and processes.

**You will be**:
Providing excellent service to all external and internal customers.

Assisting in the overall control of creditors and system administration for creditors system.

Preparing invoices for scanning and distribution.

Inputting creditor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Distributing invoices for authorisation to allow the payment of creditors.

Please Note - a Police Check, WWCC and Covid Vaccination status will all need to be obtained upon placement.
