Join centre offering education & care of preschool children based in the beautiful beach town of Inverloch in Victoria.

Exceptional Full-time opportunity as a 2IC/Educational Leader, you'll have a dual role that combines leadership, educational, and management responsibilities. It's an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the centre while directly impacting the education and well-being of young children. As part of the team you will provide high quality child care and Educational Program that is based on knowledge, attitudes and skills obtained from previous training that meets the needs of the individual children, their families and the community.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Leadership and Team Support: You'll work closely with the centre director/manager to provide leadership and guidance to the team. This involves supporting and mentoring educators, assisting with rostering and staff management, and promoting a positive team culture.
- Educational Planning and Program Development: As the educational leader, you'll contribute to the development and implementation of the centre's curriculum and educational programs. This includes designing learning experiences, monitoring children's progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
- Quality Improvement: You'll actively participate in quality improvement processes, such as assessing and evaluating practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of education and care provided.
- Collaboration and Communication: You'll collaborate with families, building strong relationships and engaging them in their child's learning and development. Additionally, you'll liaise with external professionals, attend meetings, and maintain effective communication within the team.
- On-floor Work: As mentioned, you may be required to work on the floor for two days per week. This involves directly engaging with children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
