The Geographe Leisure Centre provides a community meeting place that fosters, promotes and co-ordinates social and recreational activities, services and events. The Centre offers three multi-purpose indoor courts, a state-of-the-art gym and a large group fitness studio with a separate RPM/Spin room. There are two swimming pools, spa/sauna area, café and a crèche.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Leisure Centre’s Coordinator, you will be responsible for the management, operations and coordination of the health and fitness programs. This includes overseeing group fitness, gym operations, and ensuring programs align with community needs and industry trends. You will also act as a Duty Manager in accordance with work rosters, providing effective supervision of staff and patrons.

**As the successful applicant, you will be able to demonstrate**:
Previous experience in a Supervisory role and the ability to work between the hours of 5.00am - 8:00pm. In addition, you will have highly developed:

- Leadership skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational and time management skills
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

**Essential registration/qualification requirements for the role include**:

- Cert III & IV in Health and Fitness
- Fitness Australia accreditation
- Provide First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check (or an ability to obtain)
- National Police Clearance (dated within six months)
