**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

Our client is currently looking for multiple NV1 cleared Export Controls experts to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will see you take the lead on matters related to Export Controls, ITAR and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

The role will cover several tasks across general administration, document development, relationship management and providing advice on export controls and International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Provide export control services including documentation control, internal compliance activities, and assuring alignment with policies & framework

A background in Defence is essential as well as a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on tasks that may be outside of your job description.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations.
- Prepare correspondence and reports as directed
- Data management and analysis
- FMS coordination
- Perform ad hoc ITAR/Exports tasks as/when required/directed by Export Control Lead.
- Support the Export Controls Lead with Execution of Export Licences in accordance with International Traffic in ARMS Regulations
- Define and manage the services that will be required to ensure proper ITAR/Exports support to the Project activities
- Co-ordinate the management of ITAR/Exports releases to the Prime Contracts to meet the Contractual obligation as part of the Head Contracts
- Monitor and register risks, controls, and treatments into the Predict risk register

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED**
- Experience within the Defence industry
- Minimum of 4 years experience working with Export Controls and ITAR requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Thorough understanding of export controls and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Project coordination skillsets (mandatory)
- Minimum NV1 clearance held
