Our Operational Technology Unit within Network Maintenance is responsible for ensuring high availability and reliability of Control Systems, Wireless and Fixed voice and data networks, Condition Monitoring and Passenger Information infrastructure and Cyber Security of Operational Systems.

**The opportunity**

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Cyber Security Solutions Specialist to join us in the growing Operational Technology Unit as a Subject-Matter-Expert providing cyber security support to projects and initiatives, ensuring all new designs within the Operational Systems domain have appropriate security controls, comply with security policies and maintain compliance standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the latest cutting edge Cyber technology and become a Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security with Operational Technology/Systems for Sydney Trains.

**What you will be responsible for**:

- Leading the security capabilities ensuring that systems within the Operational Systems domain have appropriate cyber security controls in place to mitigate potential risks
- Overseeing security design solutions ensuring they are adhering to Security Architecture
- Working collaboratively with project leadership and management in delivering cyber-security consultancy and support services
- Identifying and providing infrastructure resources and services that provide adequate security functions

**About you**

You are tertiary qualified in a relevant Engineering, Technology or Cyber Security discipline with an understanding of IEC 62443 standards and proven knowledge and experience with security controls such as SIEM, Advanced Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, WAF and EDR.

You will have demonstrated experience in maintaining and administering cyber security controls in a federated or multi-sourced environment. You will also have experience with the integration of security controls in an ICS environment and networks services.

You are enthusiastic with a passion for Cyber Security, with a background in solutions architecture. Have a curiosity to learn and keep yourself updated with new developments in cyber security and related domains. You will be a critical thinker and have Cyber Security experience working in a large, complex organisation.

This is also a great opportunity for someone currently working in IT cyber security who are seeking a new challenge such as a move into an Operational Technology domain.
Whilst Cyber Security certifications will be highly regarded, they are not essential.

No Shift Work is required.

RC Grade 6 $127,559 - $141,422 plus super & annual leave loading
