**The company**

Located in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney and ready to expand into the UK market, this multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm specialises in Façade Engineering, Remedial Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Town Planning, Expert Witness Cases related to construction, engineering, BCA Consulting and more.

You will engage in a broad range of engineering and construction disciplines which are unique to the business, in an ever changing yet procedural driven environment.

A quick wit, a thirst for knowledge, coupled with the ability to anticipate and gauge business challenges, take your career to new heights stretching your capabilities while ensuring industry standards are met and the business is commercially on the full front of delivery.

**The Role**

As the Office Manager this role will need you in the office five days a week.

It will see you with no day the same, as you will be the go-to-person for all office management issues, company statutory reporting deadlines and the collation and presentation of literature for commercial delivery.
- Safeguard the flow of the office
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies,
- Acting on manager’s behalf in regards to correspondence
- Scheduling appointments.
- Provide administrative support the Director and the wider team.
- Liaise with clients, building rapport and trust
- Ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Organising events
- Coordinating staff activities
- Continuously improve office processes and procedures
- Champion the ability in each division to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Opportunity to take on confidential projects.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as an Office Manager
- Engineering Consultancy experience is preferred (or Architecture, Construction, etc)
- Driven, committed, career focused.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and flexible with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly and approachable personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
