Applicants are sought for three experienced and qualified Teaching Assistants to support our Junior School in Years 1 & 2, commencing 22 January 2025.

The Teacher Aide will provide teachers and students with a high level of classroom assistance and support across Years 1 and 2 in our Junior School in 2025. Working hours are 8.00am-4.00pm (full-time) and 8.00am-1.00pm (part-time).

The successful applicant must hold a Paid Blue Card and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register and be able to support the Anglican ethos of St Hilda’s School.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma of Education Support, Certificate III or IV in Education Support
- Demonstrate an understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of children, including those with learning needs
- Experience working with children who possess different abilities, pace of learning and learning styles
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents
- Capable of working in any year level in a variety of situations if required
- Assist Teachers with administration tasks such as preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities
- Be willing to take on professional development and attend team meetings as required
