The Australia Centre for Quantum Growth - Quantum Australia WA node serves as a pivotal hub for collaboration among key leaders in academia, industry, and government. Its mission is to accelerate the development and adoption of quantum technologies, empowering Australia, and particularly Western Australia, to take a leadership role in the rapidly evolving global quantum ecosystem.

The WA node aims to nurture a vibrant ecosystem of quantum innovators and entrepreneurs. It aspires to make Western Australia a cornerstone of the global quantum ecosystem, ensuring the region plays a leading role in driving innovation and creating meaningful impact on the world stage.

About the opportunity
- Develop and implement programs to engage industry, academia, and government, fostering strategic partnerships and expanding participation in the quantum ecosystem.
- Plan and coordinate events, manage communications and marketing (including social media), and promote visibility of Quantum Australia's WA Node both locally and nationally.
- Collaborate with national facilitators, contribute to research and economic partnerships, and support initiatives that strengthen WA’s position in the global quantum landscape.

About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Substantial relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and community capacity building, managing diverse collaborations across industry and academia.
- Proficiency in project management, CRM systems, and data management, handling complex issues and multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a service-oriented approach to community and client engagement.
- Proven ability to coordinate events and activities while effectively managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
