At Marsh, we're on the lookout for a Principal to join our team in Sydney, operating within our esteemed Risk Management Practice. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. You'll manage a portfolio of priority accounts, build strong client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor. Together with the Managing Principal, you'll support their portfolio while also mentoring a diverse group of talented individuals on your accounts, guiding them toward success.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and achieve risk management and insurance programs tailored to client needs
- Cultivate enduring relationships with key client decision-makers through regular communication
- Expand and retain a portfolio of high-value accounts, meeting personal and team sales targets
- Stay informed about significant and potentially complex claims matters, assisting with fair claim settlements for clients
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of major insurance categories and stay current with industry advancements
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Develop research strategies for account development, gathering detailed information about key decision-makers and strategic business challenges
- Foster relationships with insurers, clients, and diverse colleagues across Australia through regular communication and collaboration
- Support the Managing Principal in financial reporting and team budgets
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and client functions to build a robust professional network and stay closely connected to the market

- Over a decade of experience in Insurance broking
- Strong comprehension of business and organizational risk management
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of intricate accounts
- Profound understanding of insurance and strategic client engagement
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Essential Tier 1 FSRA Compliance; tertiary qualification beneficial but not obligatory
