**Position Location**: Valley and Forde Campuses

**Line Management**: This position is responsible in the first instance to the Facilities Supervisor, the Chief Operating Officer and ultimately the Principal.

Burgmann Anglican School is an Early Childhood to Year 12 School with campuses located at Gungahlin and Forde.

The school prides itself on its innovative and creative approach to curriculum and education and its strong sense of community and pastoral care of the students and their families and the staff of the school. The school has a strong link with the Gungahlin Anglican Church which shares facilities and resources with the school.

**TERMS**

This position will be paid, commensurate with the responsibility of the role. The position attracts a travel and phone allowance.

This position necessitates that the incumbent will be required to be on a roster system to be present on campus over weekends to assist with sport and whole school events.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with Grounds and Cleaning teams
- Provide effective school crossing supervisory service by being punctual, vigilant and confident on site
- Movement and/or set up of furniture
- Deliveries between campuses
- Waste removal including recycling
- Cleaning student toilets after recess & lunch breaks
- Ensuring general tidiness of grounds including collection of litter
- Respond to helpdesk tickets for basic repair and maintenance tasks
- Report and/or correct any safety issues
- Drive buses for school excursions/events
- Work with events team for preparation and set up of large school events
- Other duties as required

- Working at Heights

**Salary, Terms and Conditions**

The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent School ACT (Support and Operational Staff) Multi Enterprise Agreement 2021. Salary will be determined according to qualifications and years of experience.
