dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel and flight catering services across five continents.

**A day in the life**:

- Maintaining and monitoring the invoices along with database entry of invoices and tracking the payments;
- Verifying invoices from suppliers, authorize & approve for payments;
- Ensuring correct accounting for GST on services provided;
- Reconciliation of the direct debit, bank accounts, and financial accounts;
- Completion of allocated Balance Sheet reconciliations within agreed timeframes;
- Analytical review by aging analysis and ratio analysis;
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet and other reports;
- Coordinating the daily bank reconciliation across multiple bank accounts & cash-flow analysis;
- The month-end close off process including preparing and posting journal entries for revenue & expense accruals;
- Assisting in the preparation of taxation returns, BAS and payroll tax;
- Assisting in financial forecasting and risk analysis and troubleshooting cash flow problems;
- Ensuring the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements;
- Maintaining internal control systems and assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies

**To succeed in the role, you will need**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification(s)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high level of proficiency in the use of Excel, as well as financial modelling experience (this will be vital to your success)
- Positive can do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
- Sense of humour (essential)
