**Your new role**

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, your new role would involve management of the Payroll function for Group of companies is critical to the effective and efficient performance of the business. The Payroll Manager has a pivotal role in the accurate and timely collection and collation of payroll related data

- Coordinate and monitor inputs and maintain the accuracy of payroll data entered by others. - Monitor timeliness of data entries to meet payroll run timelines.
- Monitor EBA and Award changes and consult with relevant managers.
- Perform Annualised Salary (wages) employees’ calculations.
- Calculation of Penalty Rates, Loadings, Allowances etc.
- Process EOM & provide accounts with monthly reports.
- Monitor and mentor staff to maintain data input accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with payroll related requirements including STP, Superannuation reporting, ATO, Workers Compensation, Long Service leave etc.
- Ensure payroll records are suitably maintained.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience and/or qualifications in accounting, commerce, business studies or similar discipline
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Awards, EBA and Fair Work processes
- Attention to detail
