**About the Role**

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Disability Support Worker to work with young participants who are developing essential life and social skills. This role focuses on supporting independence, fostering personal growth, and building meaningful connections within the community.

You will play a key mentoring role in helping participants:

- Develop age-appropriate social skills and positive social behaviours
- Build independence in daily living tasks such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household routines
- Learn to use public transport safely and confidently to access community and social activities
- Strengthen self-regulation and emotional management skills
- Participate in community, educational, and recreational programs that encourage social development

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will be:

- Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting young people to reach their goals
- A strong communicator and positive role model who can build trust and rapport
- Confident in providing both practical assistance and emotional support

**Essential Requirements**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Fully Comprehensive Car Insurance

Previous experience working with youth or in a mentoring capacity is highly regarded but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $43.23 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
