Industrial Electrician / Electrical Technician to support the Commissioning and After-sales Support of Power Stations, Inverters and Control Systems in the Renewable Power Generation (Solar Farm) Industry

We are recruiting an experienced Industrial Electrician / Electrical Technician to provide our customers with After-Sales Service of Commissioned Ingeteam Australia Power Stations, Inverters and Control Systems. Carrying out root cause analysis, problem solving and necessary corrective actions. Ensuring the proper functioning and continuous improvement on utility-scale grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) solar plants.

You will be based in Wollongong, NSW and will support clients remotely, as well as interstate travel to site as required. All travel expenses are covered and working away bonus provided. In the future, and for those demonstrating passion and drive, there is the future potential to travel to the Head Office in Spain for Technical training.

**ROLE**
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of solar farm facility electrical equipment including, single phase AC circuits and DC circuits.
- Setup monitoring and communications configuration on site utilizing various computer interface programs including tracker commissioning where required.
- Troubleshoot and drive corrective actions during performance validation for each site including component replacement and shade analysis.
- Support of commissioning Engineers on Ingeteam Inverters and Power Stations.
- Perform minor equipment repairs, as directed.
- Accompanying and supervising sub-contractors on site.
- Adhere to all WH&S policies and procedures on site, according to Ingeteam protocols.

**YOU**
Will have electrical trade qualified experience relating to commissioning & service and your knowledge and skills should include most (if not all) of the following;
- Current Electrical Licence
- Current White Card
- Current Working at Heights Permit
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Experience with power systems, ideally power conversion inverter systems and/or Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) or VVVFs / Soft-Starters
- Demonstrated experience in field industrial electronic and mechanical processes
- Ability to read a mechanical drawing & a pneumatic schematic.
- Suitability fit & healthy and able to work outdoors in remote, sometimes extreme climate.
- Strong culture and awareness of safety systems and procedures
