The Role

Our Storage Managers work collaboratively with their Operations Manager and their team to drive centre performance whilst aligning to company values. The role is a multi-faceted role encompassing customer service, administration, operations & people management.

Located in Port Melbourne, this centre is our Flagship site, with a large range of corporate & commercial customers. As a business we will provide all on the job training to help you become a Storage Guru in return, - day-to-day you will be responsible for the following:
**The responsibilities include**:
Coach and lead a small team of Store Consultants to success
Deliver and drive consistent and great service to support customers in making the best storage choice for their needs.
Maintaining & Cleaning of the Storage Facility & Grounds.
Work towards monthly sales and KPI targets
Drive operational excellence with a strong focus on centre presentation and maintenance.
Commit to a safety-first culture, ensuring all compliance and administration tasks are completed in line with company policies.
Resolve customer complaints and enquiries and escalate any matters of support to Senior Management where required.
Monthly analysis and end of month reporting summarizing the centre's financial performance per month.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager regarding weekly & monthly updates/results
Assisting & servicing the Commercial Customer Base to ensure their needs are met on a daily/weekly basis.
Assist clients with any urgent requests outside traditional office hours with company provided mobile phone.
Action general administration duties such as rosters, leave requests and timesheets, customer contracts and inventory management.

About You

**To be successful in this role, you will ideally have**:
Demonstrated 1 + years’ experience within a management or team leader position
Strong conflict & resolution knowledge, and the ability to de-escalate situations.
Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
The ability to build strong and effective relationships with all levels of staff
You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Driver’s license and car (preferred)
