ECG Engineering is a specialised electrical engineering consultancy providing services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors. With head office in Welshpool and offices in Brisbane, Manila and Toronto we provide engineering services throughout Australia and across the world.

We are currently looking for a multi-skilled
**Payroll Officer / Accounts Payable** for our Welshpool office. This role in primarily payroll focussed, but will also offer support to the accounts payable and finance team.

Key aspects of the Payroll Officer / Accounts Payable role are:

- End to end processing of company payrolls (monthly)
- Maintenance of employee records
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Maintaining and providing payroll reports as and when requested by HR, including internal and statutory obligations.
- Calculation and processing of termination payments and records
- Complying with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g. Superannuation guarantee, Australian Taxation Office, National Employment Standards, STP reporting)

You will be joining an established finance team and providing occasional support to Accounts payable and invoicing, where duties include;
- Processing of vendor invoices matching to company purchase orders and Delivery dockets.
- Manage purchase orders.
- Complete monthly reconciliations of creditor statements to payable’s ledger
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Completion of end of month reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Processing of customer invoices
- General accounts and administration duties.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Experience in a fully functional payroll role
- Engineering / technical consulting exposure will be looked upon favourably, although not essential
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workflow accordingly
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Possess interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of the organisation and other stakeholders
