**The Company**
***Our client is a global company helping laboratories translate genomic discoveries into targeted, cost-effective testing. The Australian headquarters, based in Brisbane, has experienced solid growth in the past year and now have a need for an additional Research Associate to join their team
**The Role**
In your position as a Research Associate, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing studies in the research and or the development group. You will make detailed observations, analyse data, interpret results, maintain records and work collaboratively with other team members to produce outcomes.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Perform basic laboratory techniques using standard instrumentation in accordance with regulatory and safety practices
- Assist in maintaining the laboratory e.g. ordering supplies and equipment maintenance
**About you**
- To be considered for this role you will be a science graduate with good exposure to molecular science.
- At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory
- Flexibility is essential, as is a positive and commercial attitude.
